Looking for a sustainable decorative cushion? Then choose Remix or Reweave from KAAT Amsterdam’s sustainable collection. This cushion is made from post-consumer waste – which makes it really quite special! To manufacture this cushion, textiles are collected and sorted by colour. New yarns are produced by putting the textiles through a mechanical recycling process (they are chopped up and shredded). Because the fabrics are sorted by colour, no water, dye, or chemicals are needed. The cushion filling is also sustainable, as it is made from 100% PET (recycled polyester).
